County Confirmed Cases Hospitalizations Deaths
Summary• We are continuing to see an increase in the number of cases of
COVID-19 statewide, including here in the Atlanta metro area/Fulton County especially in the age group of 20-40 years
• ER visits and hospitalization have started to go up – data was expected based on the rise in cases (death rates not yet)
Takeaway Message Remains – We cannot afford to let our guard down. Continue to do social distancing, use a face mask, wash your hands often. Fazle N. Khan, MBBS, DPH, MPH, Chief Epidemiologist, FCBOH
Several cities/counties have passed ordinance requiring face masks
Data is published by GDPH daily and FCBOH three times a week
