WHO WILL BE ON YOUR FRONT COVER ? SOLO ARTIST / BAND

The artists name shall be called Freya Stratford. The person who is going to be on my front cover needs to able to represent my chosen genre of pop. I have thought about the look of the person who will be on my cover and they need to fit these conventions. A young female who has straight hair as its the style many pop artists use, such as Katy Perry and Jessie J. She will be wearing modern clothing which appeals to the female teenage audience such as a 'parka' coat.

HOW DO WANT TO REPRESENT THIS ARTIST OR BAND? COOL / FUN / SERIOUS / QUIRKY / SEXY ETC…

I would like her to be represented as attractive and a strong, confident woman so my target audience of female teenagers but also in quite a sexy way to attract a male audience so the magazine if distributed appealed to a larger audience. But my target audience is mainly female teenagers.

HOW WILL DO THIS? CLOTHES / MAKE – UP / ACCESSORIES / PROPS / LOCATION / LIGHTING / POSE /

SHOT TYPE & ANGLE

The clothing would be dark but because only doing a mid shot to close shot. It will be dark and be blurred to the face to make the face stand out. The make up will be red lip stick that will also be the colour of the text so that it will match to continue the house style which consists of white, yellow, red and black. The location of this picture I am still unsure of yet and this includes the pose, but I do know the photograph will be head on making eye contact to make it look like the magazine is looking at you. Clothing will be something that is fashionable to teenagers at the time, so I think I'm going to have my model wearing a parka coat.
