$ See LEDs in a new wallet-friendly light.

Today’s LED bulbs use about 70-90 percent less energy than traditional bulbs and last at least 15 times longer too. Discounts available on select bulbs through participating retailers, or through the Xcel Energy store.

For a $75 fee, certified technicians will deliver and install energy-efficient equipment, and provide personalized energy advice for your home—valued at up to $200. Refrigerator and freezer recycling

$ Energy bill savings could exceed $50 per year.

Older refrigerators can use twice as much energy as new ENERGY STAR refrigerators. Recycle a still-functioning fridge or freezer and receive a rebate. It will be picked up and recycled responsibly—for free.

Cooling

$ Heating and cooling are almost 50% of your bill.

Enjoy the luxury of air conditioning, knowing your high-efficiency system is saving you energy. Ductless mini-split heat pumps are a great choice when looking to heat and cool with one system. Rebates are available for equipment and quality installations.

Heating

$ Stay comfortable and keep costs low.

Upgrading your heating equipment can save you on energy costs and improve your comfort. Rebates are available for 95% or greater efficiency furnaces, as well as fan motors and heat pumps. Heat pumps are a good choice if you want to heat and cool your home with one appliance.

Evaporative cooling

$ Cool your home for a quarter of the cost.

An evaporative cooler is 75% more efficient than a traditional central air conditioner. Additionally, it can cool your home within 15 minutes and help reduce the effects of our dry climate. This is a great choice for Coloradans that want to stay cool but pay less on cooling costs.

Water heating

$ Water heaters consume 18% of the energy used in an average home.

Save money on future energy costs by upgrading to a high-efficiency natural gas or an electric heat pump water heater. After heating and cooling, water heaters account for the largest amount of energy used in your home.

An audit is the quickest way to set you on a path to lower bills. Audits provide personalized recommendations on home upgrades that will save you the most. Choose from a standard audit, audit with blower door test, or infrared audit.
