Registering a new accountBroker

The first time you use the Motor Fleet MID Update via the Covéa Insurance website you will need to set up a broker account. This account is separate to your Broker Online account.

To set up a Motor Fleet MID account, click on the Need a broker account? link, this will take you to the broker registration page.

Complete all of the fields on the ‘Create a new account’ screen and click the Register button.

You will receive an email with a link to activate your broker account

Click on the link in the activation email. Your Motor Fleet MID account will be activated and you can log in from the link provided or by clicking on the Fleet button on the MID update page

Registering a new accountPolicyholder

The first time you use the Motor Fleet MID Update via the Covéa Insurance website you will need to set up a policyholder account.

To set up a Motor Fleet MID account, click on the Need a policyholder account link, this will take you to the policyholder registration page.

Complete all of the fields on the ‘Create a new account’ screen and click the Register button.

You will receive an email with a link to activate your broker account

Click on the link in the activation email. Your Motor Fleet MID account will be activated and you can log in from the link provided or by clicking on the Fleet button on the MID update page

Login ProcessesLogging in

To access the Fleet MID Updates Login screen, navigate to the Covéa Insurance website homepage at www.coveainsurance.co.uk

Then click on the MID Update option.

Enter your registered email address and password and click the Log In button

This will take you to the MID updates page for Motor Fleet and Motor Trade Road Risks policies.

Click on the Motor Fleet button to access the login page.

Unlocking an accountYour account will be locked out if you have 5 incorrect login attempts. If you are locked out please wait 5 minutes before trying again. If the issue continues please reset your password.

If you are unable to reset your password and the account is still locked please contact your local Commercial Underwriting Regional Team if you are a broker or contact your broker if you are a policyholder.

Login ProcessesForgotten password

If you have forgotten your password you can reset it on the Login page.

Click the Forgot your password? link.

Enter the email address you registered with and click Email Link.

Click the link in the email you receive to reset your password.

Enter your email and new password and click Reset.

You will receive email confirmation that your password has been reset

You can now log in with your new password

Change PasswordTo change your password click on your email address on the top right of the screen to access the account management options.

Click on the Change your password link

Enter your current password and new password in the relevant fields.

Click Change Password to save and complete the process.

You can now log in with your new password

Vehicle updatesViewing policy details

After you have logged into your account select View Policy.

Enter the policy number and business postcode (shown on the first page of the policy schedule) and click on the View Policy button

Once the policy number and business postcode have been validated you will be able to add, remove and amend vehicles for that policy.

Add a new vehicle

New vehicles can be added by selecting the Add a vehicle button

Complete the details of the vehicle and click Submit New Vehicle to confirm details to the MID.

Vehicle updatesAmend vehicle details

Details of existing vehicles can also be amended, for example to correct purchase date or amend the vehicle cover.

To amend the details for a particular vehicle select Amend next to the vehicle to be amended.

You will be presented with the current details for the that vehicle. Amend the purchase date or vehicle cover options as required.

Click Save to confirm the change and submit the details to the MID

Remove vehiclesWhen a vehicle has been sold or returned to the Hire or Lease Company, the registration number will need to be removed from the MID.

Select Remove Vehicle next to the vehicle to be removed.

Enter the date the vehicle is to be removed from and click Remove to confirm the removal of the vehicle from the MID

Managing multiple policiesPolicyholder

Policyholders can manage the MID details of multiple Motor Fleet policies under one account.

To do this, once you have logged in, select the Manage Policies option.

You will be shown a list of the policies linked to your account.

To add a new policy click on the Add Policy to Account button.

Complete the Policy/Certificate No. and Business Postcode fields and click Create to add the policy to your account.

To unlink a policy from your account click Unlink Policy

Check the details of the policy you are unlinking. If you’re sure that you want to unlink the policy from your account click Delete
