Flexible training options
At Lifetime we provide flexible training options that
fit easily around today’s busy lifestyles. The majority
of our students enrol onto a Lifetime Award. Awards
are designed with a specific career in mind and
provide the most cost effective way of gaining the
qualifications you need. Each award is made up of
a combination of modules that can be studied as an
intensive block or spread out over up to 12 months
for those requiring greater flexibility.
We have invested a great deal in the
development of our study materials which
enable us to offer quality distance learning
study packs. As well as comprehensive manuals,
some awards include fully interactive CD Roms
designed to suit a wide range of learning styles.
The CD Rom video-streams lectures which gives
students the opportunity to review and rewind
content again and again.
“The tutors are superb, and the
course advisors go out of their way to help.” paul cranswick, student
Three-dimensional diagrams illustrate the subject
matter as the lecture progresses to really bring
the concepts to life. Interactive activities provide
continuous opportunities to check understanding
with end-of-unit tests allowing immediate feedback
on your progress. If you feel you would benefit more
from a classroom environment we also offer taught
options for all of our awards.
Our flexible approach to training at Lifetime is
extended to the payment options we offer, you can
stagger the cost of training throughout your course
without paying any interest or any more than the
overall award price. You also have the option of
applying for a Career Development Loan which is a
deferred payment bank loan to fund your training,
for more information please contact our course
advisors.

administrative and
teaching are quite

The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) is a system of
regulation for all instructors, coaches, trainers and teachers
involved in the exercise and fitness industry.
Registration is achieved and maintained through the gaining
of qualifications and training which are nationally recognised
and linked to the National Occupational Standards for exercise
and fitness. All Lifetime awards are recognised by REPs and
upon completion of a full award we will arrange and pay for your
registration. In addition, because our awards not only meet,
but exceed the level of practical skill required by the awarding
bodies, Lifetime qualified instructors are regarded as amongst
the best in the fitness industry.
The Register of Exercise Professionals
Register level and category Details Lifetime awards for direct entry to REPs

Like most other areas of employment, the fitness industry is
experiencing rapid change, in terms of the range of products and
services on offer and the technical ability that is needed to deliver
them. Whether you are employed, self-employed or work part-
time, you will need to keep your knowledge and skills up to date
and relevant. Personal development is often called Continuing
Professional Development (CPD) and it is a requirement for
maintaining your REPs status.
In a one year period:
● a level 2 instructor will have to complete 16 CPD credits
● a level 3 instructor will have to complete 24 CPD credits.
