The course will review current concepts in laser technology applicable to retinal diseases. Proven and theoretical advantages and disadvantages of dye lasers, diode laser systems (slitlamp transpupillary and endophotocoagulation), and laser indirect ophthalmoscopes will be reviewed. A laboratory session with hands-on experience will be offered.
