Recognition of Prior Learning
What do you do if you think you have already completed this work? This is called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Your teacher will conduct interviews with each student to identify RPL.
Extensions
The TAFE policy on assessment is detailed in the ‘TAFE NSI Student Guide’. In short unless an agreed extension has been negotiated with TAFE, a 15% marking penalty will be deducted from any work submitted up to 7 days beyond the assessment return date or the grade is reduced by one level. As adult learners you are expected to take responsibility for managing your time, work load and study throughout this program.
