CourseMinerals, rocks and fossils - a world to discover

This workshop aims to bring the children participating in the program closer to the natural geological phenomena that define our planet. This workshop shows how the di�erent properties of minerals can be used to manufacture most of the objects and products we use in our daily lives. The structure and contents of the activities are very flexible and can be easily adapted by the teacher according to the available material and the educational level, taking into account the age, interests and needs of the participants. It also allows them to understand what non-renewable resources are and to instill in them the need to care for the environment, the importance of recycling, sustainable development and environmental care. In addition, we o�er a set of educational resources with free access on the Internet.
