Course Equivalency Overview This document shows historical courses and their modern equivalents, as printed in the 2017/18 College Catalog. There is also a companion list published on the CCSF Catalog web site (www.ccsf.edu/catalog) that shows the same information, organized by current course number. This list does not include the following, which are already indicated in the Catalog: Courses with two different identifiers, sometimes referred to as cross-listed courses. An example of a course like this is Latin American Workers in the Americas, known as both LALS 15 and LBCS 15. Courses in Foreign Languages that have equivalents (e.g., FREN 1A + 1B = FREN 1) In addition, this list does not include historic equivalences for courses that are no longer active. An example would be CS 183C, which was known as CIS 185 prior to Fall 2013. Since CS 183C was deactivated effective Fall 2016, it is not included on this list.
