4. Tomar conciencia de la importancia de los temas transversales en los contenidos de las materias y su impacto en la motivación del alumnado.

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

CG1 Knowledge of the curriculum content of the topic areas appropriate to the teaching specialisation, and the body of knowledge on

teaching methods regarding teaching and learning processes.

CG2 Plan, develop and assess the teaching and learning proces and promote educational processes that facilitate the acquisition of the

competences that are core to the respective subjects, based on the level and previous training of students and guiding them, both

individually and in collaboration with other teachers and school professionals.

CG3 Search for, obtain, process and communicate information (oral, print, visual, digital or multimedia), transform it into knowledge

and apply it in the teaching and learning in their own subjects, crediting proper management of TICs and mastering a second

language in communication processes.

CG4 Develop the school curriculum, participate in the collective planning of the curriculum, and develop and implement both

CONTENT

1. Theory contents

Bloque 1:

- Análisis de los elementos de un trabajo académico de carácter general.

- Funciones, estructuras lingüísticas y vocabulario específico para la elaboración de trabajos académicos.

- Fundamentos para la elaboración del TFM: revisión de buenas prácticas y errores comunes.

- Aspectos formales y utilización de recursos bibliográficos.

- Criterios de evaluación para el TFM: parte escrita y defensa oral.

Bloque 2:

- Enseñanza de aspectos culturales en la clase de ESL: Globalización y diversidad cultural.

- Enseñar literatura en la clase de ESL / Enseñar ESL a través de la literatura.

- La escuela inclusiva: coeducación.

- Igualdad en la diversidad: educación intercultural.

Bloque 3:

- Origen y funciones del lenguaje humano.

- Aprendizaje de lenguas: procesos de aprendizaje de primeras y segundas lenguas.

- Bases psicológicas de las distintas metodologías de aprendizaje de las lenguas extranjeras: conductismo, cognitivismo, y constructivismo en la

enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras.

- Factores que influyen en el aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras: la edad, la motivación y aspectos afectivos, los estilos de aprendizaje, estrategias

de aprendizaje, la cognición, la metacognición, aspectos sociales y culturales.

2. Practical contents

Análisis de casos prácticos relacionados con los contenidos teóricos.

METHODOLOGY

Clarifications

La metodología interrelacionará la transmisión de informaciones con las resoluciones prácticas. En las clases teóricas se realizarán exposiciones

dedicadas a la presentación del marco teórico, conceptual y metodológico de la asignatura por parte del profesorado, combinándose con

actividades interactivas para procurar una mayor implicación del alumnado; a tal efecto, la metodología docente se basará en el desarrollo de

tareas de aprendizaje como el estudio de casos, el análisis de proyectos y la resolución de problemas.

En éstas se atenderá al alumnado para comentar cuestiones concretas en relación con sus tareas o para tratar de resolver cualquier otra dificultad

relacionada con la asignatura. Las estrategias metodológicas, integrando la información dirigida, la adquisición de conceptos y procedimientos,

así como las resoluciones prácticas, deben favorecer resultativamente el aprendizaje activo y participativo, fomentar la reflexión crítica y las

actitudes positivas, y estimular la elaboración de conclusiones propias.

En definitiva, las clases se desarrollarán manteniendo la alternancia de una doble metodología: por un lado, se fundamentarán en las explicaciones

del profesor, quien propiciará el diálogo y la comunicación fluida con los estudiantes; y por otro, las intervenciones de los alumnos constituirán la

base de las sesiones prácticas. Se pretenderá en todo momento que los trabajos acojan las modalidades teórica y práctica.

Clarifications:

Dado el carácter presencial del máster, la asistencia a clase es obligatoria, si bien se tendrán en cuenta las faltas de asistencia justificadas y

debidamente documentadas. No se podrá aprobar ninguna asignatura con más de un 20% de ausencia no justificada de su horario total. Por

motivos laborales no se pueden justificar ausencias.

Los alumnos que no puedan optar al sistema de evaluación continua deberán ponerse en contacto con el coordinador/a de la especialidad para

concretar con el equipo docente de la materia un sistema de evaluación específico (examen y/o trabajo de profundización) para las convocatorias

de septiembre y/o diciembre.

No se podrá aprobar el Máster con asignaturas pendientes de superar, ya que de acuerdo con el Real Decreto 1393/2007 es obligatorio para la

obtención del título de Máster la superación de 60 créditos ECTS.
