Approximately $2,845.99 worth of merchandise was stolen from Mean's (jambles sometime between closmg time l"riday, April 17 and opening lime Saturday morning. April 18. The store's owner, Ken Means discovered the theft when he opened for business last Saturday morning. Means reported the incident to the Lincoln County Sheriff's office. who in turn informed carrizozo Town Police. Law enforcement officers determined that person or persons unknown entered the store by breaking the large front door window with an old chunk of cement. Six rifles, two stereos. two cassette players, one 8-track player a od eighteen western-style shirts were discovered missing.
