    THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF NOUNS.

    TO TEST IF A WORD IS A NOUN, YOU CAN USUALLY PUT THE ARTICLE A OR THE IN FRONT OF THE NOUN.

  • COUNTABLE NOUNS v We can count them

    v You can put a/an in front of this nounv It usually takes on plural form

  • UNCOUNTABLE NOUNSv Things/food that we can NOT count

    v CANNOT take on plural formv Usually categories:Furniture, clothes, money

    v Food/ drinks:Milk, juice, rice
