Once upon a time, our universe was a hot, dense place. Then, out of nowhere (and no-when), itsuddenl underwent a monstrous e!pansion. 'ased on cosmoloical evidence, dark ener is %elieved to %e responsi%le for a%out

There is onl one pro%lem with this theor: researchers have never seen ordetected this msterious form of ener. 0n eneral relativit, dark ener is represented % thecosmoloical constant, a fude factor inserted % instein in order to prevent the universe fromcollapsin on itself. 'ut accordin to 2hu, dark ener is unnecessar.
