RUCH OUTDOOR COMMUNITY SCHOOL PTO WELCOMES ALL!

“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in away we couldn’t as individuals. When we pool our strength and share the work and responsibility,

we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self confidence and inner healing.” Jean Vanier

Did you notice the word “community” in our school name? Here at Ruch we encourage the building of community amongst students, staff, and parents. It takes each and everyone one of us to participate in big and small ways to create a vibrant community. Consider how you will contribute to our community.

® Classified Staff Appreciation week is March 4th - 8th. Our classified staff provide support for our teachers and stu-dents. They make every effort to know each child and make them feel important. A simple card made by your child is a great way to show your appreciation.

® Valentines Day is just around the corner. Please check with your students class room parent to see if they need assistance planning the party.

® Do you shop on Amazon? Did you know your purchases can support the Ruch PTO?! All you have to do is go to smile.amazon.com/ch/23-7128212 and start shopping!

® March 1 we will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with Hop on Popcorn Day! Popcorn poppers needed. Contact Lynda Hickey at 541-301-0820.

® The 15th Annual Ruch Outdoor Community School Auction is June 8th. Planning starts now! Please contact Lynda Hickey at 541-301-0820 to join the auction committee. We need many volunteers to make this evening event extraordinary

NEXT PTO MEETING - February 13 at 3:45 in the Media Center. Please plan on attending to learn more about the opportunities offered to build a healthy community for our students!
