Description

• A cougar is a mammal with tan fur. It has long sensory whiskers, long retractable claws, and a long tail with a black tip. it has lighter fur on belly.

Habitat

• The cougar lives in forest, rain forest, grasslands, and deserts. It lives in North America.

Diet• The cougar is a

carnivore , meat eater. Their favorite food is deer, rodents, and caribou. They are strong enough to kill a moose. They kill weak animals. They leap from the ground or from a tree, and they break the neck of their prey.

Survival

• Humans destroy habitat and hiding spots. Humans kill cougars.
