Costumes and props

In order to make my magazine as realistic and as proffesional as possible I need to make sure that the aritst that I am taking the images of look like they should be in a magazine fromt this genre. As seen in my previous research I have been looking at different mgaazines and analysising them so I have a basic idea of what my audience are expecting to see but this is the full plan that I am going to use on my photo shoot.

From my research I have noticed that when an indie band or artist is used on the front cover they have a different style of dress. This idea is also supported by my research on the genre as it is an alternative genre of rock and is them build up of sub genres. As they are not from the rock genre they will have a different style about them, for my audience to understand this I am planning to use a similar style to the image shown on the left.

On my contents page I am planning to have an image of a whole band in which they are playing live. Although I am not planning to use a studio to capture an image similar to the example image I am possibly thinking of using a similar camera position and similar positioning of the band. I will also need the band to have instruments as this is a convention of a music magazine.
