SOUTH FLORIDA Nostrand Named CEO for NAI Miami By Esmeralda McKie Industry veteran Stephan Nostrand is relocating to NAI Miami as its new CEO and COO. Nostrand is replacing former NAI South Florida President Jeremy S. Larkin and former CEO Edward L. Schmidt, tasked with handling the firm's daily operations. The two have been elevated to co- chairmen and members of the executive committee to handle more client-facing activities. Previously, Nostrand served as director of investment banking at Flagler Realty Services, Inc. (formerly Codina Realty Services, Inc.) and Brown Real Estate in New York. He works as an adjunct professor in the Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism program at the University of Miami. CHARLOTTE

Nostrand Named CEO for NAI Miami

Industry veteran Stephan Nostrand is relocating to NAI Miami as its newCEO and COO.

Nostrand is replacing former NAI South Florida President Jeremy S. Larkin and former CEO EdwardL. Schmidt, tasked with handling the firm's daily operations. The two have been elevated to co-chairmen and members of the executive committee to handle more client-facing activities.

Previously, Nostrand served as director of investment banking at Flagler Realty Services, Inc.(formerly Codina Realty Services, Inc.) and Brown Real Estate in New York. He works as an adjunctprofessor in the Master of Real Estate Development and Urbanism program at the University ofMiami.

TCA Recruits Sheehan to Expand Triangle Presence

Looking to establish a larger presence in the Triangle area, Charlotte-basedTrinity Capital Advisors has brought on former Duke Realty Senior Vice President Jeff Sheehan as apartner.

Based in the Raleigh office, Sheehan will be responsible for finding new deals for acquisition anddevelopment of office, industrial, and mixed-use commercial properties in both the Triangle andTriad regions.

Sheehan had been with Duke Realty for 15 years as the leader of its Raleigh business unit untilNovember 2014, when he was promoted to oversee leasing and management for more than 11.2million square feet of office and industrial space

Avison Young Adds Team to Launch Agency Leasing in DFW

Avison Young has recruited the brokerage team of Chuck Sellers(pictured, left), Dale Ray (center), and Grant Sumner (right) to lead the firm's new office agencyleasing services platform in Dallas.

The three former Peloton Commercial Real Estate execs were named principals at Avison Youngwhere they will represent investors, developers, landlords and tenants in office leasing negotiationsacross the Dallas/Fort Worth MSA.

Skrbin Joins Avison Young

Stephanie Skrbin has joined Avison Young in Los Angeles as a principal,partnering with urban retail properties leader Derrick Moore to develop the firm's institutional retailleasing and investment practice in Southern California.

Skrbin brings more than 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with a strongfocus on the retail sector. She most recently served as a principal with Lee Associates in LosAngeles, where she handled investment sales, landlord and tenant representation, and assetmanagement. Before that she held positions at CBRE and the former Staubach Retail.

Skrbin is a member of the ICSC and ACRE.

ORLANDO

Colliers Int'l Hires New Director

Colliers International Central Florida hired Richard Davis, Jr. as a managingdirector, industrial services. Based in the Orlando office, Davis will handle leasing, sales, anddevelopment of industrial properties.

Davis comes to Colliers with a background in the acquisition, disposition, and development ofinstitutional distribution centers. In his 19 years working in commercial real estate, Davis hasrepresented Masco Corporation, Costco, Kellogg USA, and Unifirst.

During his tenures as the director of brokerage at Cushman Wakefield in Orlando and as a vicepresident of the industrial group at the former Grubb Ellis, Davis has served as a member of boththe Greater Orlando Chamber of Commerce and NAIOP.

ATLANTA

JLL Appoints Tennery as Managing Director

David Tennery has been named JLL's managing director of capital markets forthe Southeast. In this new position, Tennery will head up the investment office sales in Georgia,Tennessee, and the Carolinas.

Since joining JLL in 2013, David has served as the managing director of office investor services. Hewill continue to hold that position moving forward.

Tennery broke into the commercial real estate industry in 1981, and since that time has sold anddeveloped more than 8 million square feet of commercial real estate in the U.S. and Latin America,including the $290 million sale of the ATT Lenox Park campus on behalf of Columbia Property Trustback in October.

Brookfield Hires New Head of Apartment Business, Strategy

Brookfield Property Partners LP hired David Woodward to oversee itsapartment business and strategy. Based in the New York City office, Woodward will overseeBrookfield's existing portfolio of multifamily properties in major U.S. markets and will work toexpand their footprint.

Prior to joining Brookfield, Woodward spent time with Archstone, Laramar, and Fortress, developinghis reputation in the multifamily industry. Under Woodward's leadership, Brookfield hopes to expandtheir domestic portfolio and their international reach.

ATLANTA

Onyx Equities Continues Southeast Expansion

New Jersey-based Onyx Equities has expanded into Atlanta.

The new office will be led by former CBRE senior real estate manager Bert Locke, Jr. (pictured, left),a 30-year industry veteran who has managed more than 13 million square feet of commercial spacethroughout his career.

Also joining the team is Dyron Dinsmore, who will step into the role of senior property manager. A30-year industry veteran as well, Dinsmore joins the firm from Parkway Properties, where hedirected overall management for the 1.3 million-square-foot Bank of America Plaza, now undermanagement with Onyx.

Edelman, Goldstein Join Avison Young

Edelman and Goldstein primarily focus on servicing office market clients in Miami's central businessdistrict and throughout South Florida. Edelman brings 20 years of experience and Goldstein brings15 years, both most recently serving as senior vice presidents with JLL. Together they havecompleted more than 1,000 transactions with clients ranging from local firms to Fortune 500companies.
