Reenu Mohindra had
an inclination towards creativity since childhood and she nurtured it passionately as a hobby , so much so that she quit her job as a university lecturer to explore its various facets. She enjoyed decorating her home and the compliments that poured in form the people who visited them, spurred her on.
Marriage led her to setup home in different parts of the world like Kenya , Dubai and India . Reenu and her husband travelled frequently , thanks to the nature of his job and this honed Reenu’s designs from different regions and cultures ,
creating unique and beautiful décor .

Darling, you told me when we got married you'd always make me happy. I'm bored; I'm the wife of one of the country's top billionaires and nobody knows or writes about me. I want to be famous and on Page 3 like Mrs. M. Her husband bought her a publishing house and now she is the editor of a fashion and lifestyle magazine and Mr. Q bought his wife a educa5onal founda5on.
Okay honey bunch, what do you want say it and I'll get it for you.Buy me a fashion store with designer collec5ons in it.
A fashion store! But you don't know anything about fashion or running a store. Isn't it a lot of hard work puOng a store together?Anta habeeb qalbi, we'll hire a consultant, coordinator, whoever -‐ as they do these days or an event manager -‐ they'll do everything for me. With your money anything is possible.

So it's sefled. We will have a launch party, call the media, invite some stars and I'll be famous on page 3 and on TV. I'll phone my club party friends and they'll be green with envy and that Mrs. M can now stop showing off.
What sort of fashion store are you planning my dear?
Well something on the lines of that popular decades old haute couture store called LUXEAYA.
How will you convince designers to sell at your store?
We'll buy all the collec5ons of course. You will do it for me won't you? Spend a lifle money on your honey baby? What good is your fortune if it can't buy fame for me? Then we'll make it big and people will flock to our store. Then I'll open branches all over GCC and abroad and designers will die to be part of my store.
Sweetness, let's start with one store and then dream big.
