AFRICAN BOTANICALS, COLD PRESSED OILS & BUTTERS:

Manketti Seed Oil (Schinziophyton rautanenii):

• High nutritive value and has traditionally been used as a natural “sunscreen” – protecting the skin against the desert sun and offers protection against environmental damage.• Offers a nutrient-rich hair treatment oil. Because of its unique composition, forms a protective film over hair without making it oily.• Can be used in a wide variety of creams, lotions, sun care products, lip balms, hair conditioning oils and body butter.

Can replace Shea Butter and Palm Oil.

Kalahari Melon (Citrullus Lanatus):

• Rich in Omega 6 and 9 essential fatty acids.• Light, penetrating, non-greasy, moisturizing emollient oil.• Restores elasticity to mature skin.• Dissolves sebum build-up allowing to sebum to wash away• Natural baby oil.• Good option as a carrier oil in aromatherapy, massage oils, bath oils, salt scrubs, facials, face cream, bath bombs and oils.

Baobab Oil (Adansonia digitata):

• Has a high content of Vitamins A, D, E, and F (essential fatty acids),• Provides superb moisturizing benefits to the skin and hair,• It is quickly absorbed, improves elasticity, encourages regeneration of skin cells,• It is an excellent ingredient in formulations for eczema and psoriasis• Extremely resistant to oxidation Can replace Argan and Avocado Oils

• Rich in essential fatty acids.• Nourishes and revitalizes skin and hair.

Can replace Avocado, Olive and Almond Oils.


Ximenia Oil (Ximenia Americana & X. cafra):

• Moisturizing the skin, soothing dry skin.• Improves the function of sebaceous glands to improve lubrication of skin and hair.• Excellent for anti-aging.

Can replace Argan and Almond Oils.

Moringa Oil (Moringa Oleifera):

• The fatty acid composition effectively treats skin blemishes and dry skin, improves the permeability of skin, and conditions and strengthens hair.• Absorbs quickly into the skin and infuses easily into body creams, soaps, massage oils, and other skincare products.• Has a low, natural scent, effectively holds volatile scents, and blends with other oils making it an ideal stabilizing ingredient in perfumes.• Ideal carrier oil, Moringa has a high slip value and a low spread value.• Extremely resistant to oxidation (OSI 130h).

• Also known as ‘Honesty’.• Ancient British ornamental plant.• Also known as silver dollar or Chinese money plant dried seed pods resemble coins.

• In vivo tests shows benefits in hair care, giving to the hair smoothness, shine, and silkiness from the first application, and after 2 weeks use improve the appearance of dry hair.• In vivo studies shows benefits for skin, maintaining the skin barrier against water loss, the hydration is increasing dramatically after 2 hours and lasts for almost 24 hours (Corneometer). Volunteers state that it helps smoothing the fine lines as well as the forehead and Crow’s Feet lines.• From sensorial point of view, Lunaria Oil shows similar results with Sweet Almond Oil regarding spreadability and skin absorption, and gives more cushion effect.
