Manufacturing Process

In the basic manufacturing process, the sheet is extruded - that is the molten plastic is pumped (typically with a screw mechanism) through a die which provides the profile.

Dies are typical 1 - 3 meters wide, delivering a product of thickness up to 25 mm.

due to the shape and the lock method, the sheets cannot be packed very tight together, and cannot take too much weight on it, otherwise the sheets will definitely be broken.
