CORRUGATEDCHAIR

CONCEPT

This design is inspired by origami, paper art.

The single piece chair concept, is evolved

from the folding mechanism. Rectangular

structures with two diagonal pieces to break

the monotonous bulky feel of the furniture.

No adhesives are used in making the

furniture. It could be folded into a small box,

hence it is portable.

•This is the single piece

which folds to make the

multipurpose unit.

•Grooves are given for it

to stay stable when it is

used.

•The furniture is made of

a single board without

using any adhesive

material.

•A locking mechanism is

given so that the folding

and grooves stay in their

position. It also acts as a

handle.

CORRUGATED OTTOMAN

CONCEPT

The concept of this ottoman is derived from

its chair. It’s a single piece ottoman which is

folded in a unique fashion to form a structure

which could be used as an ottoman or a

coffee table or a stool.

This multipurpose unit is made out of

Corrugated Boards which could be carried

easily as it is light weight.
