CORRECTIONS

The article, “Indwelling catheters used from the onset of diabetes decrease injection pain and pre-injection anxiety,” by Hanaset al, which appeared in the March 2002 issue of The Journal (volume 140, pages 315-20), contains two errors in the legends ofFigures 2 and 3. The correct legends follow.

Fig 2.Answers to the question: “How have your injections been today? (Including insertion of Insuflon if done during the day)”.

P < .001 between the Insuflon and the control groups (univariate ANOVA) for the initial 15 days and P = .001 the 6-monthfollow-up. The children that continued to use Insuflon scored significantly lower (univariate ANOVA, P < .001).

Fig 3.Injection pain in children <8 years old. P < .001 between the Insuflon and the control groups (univariate ANOVA) for the ini-

tial 15 days and P < .001 for the 6-month follow-up. The children that continued to use Insuflon scored significantly lower (uni-variate ANOVA, P < .001). *Data from 2 children excluded (one skipped Insuflon for a week because of eczema problems, onehad pneumonia).

The article, “Treatment of two patients with Herlitz junctional epidermolysis bullosa with artificial skin bioequivalents,” byJiang et al, which appeared in the October 2002 issue of The Journal (volume 141, pages 553-9), contains an error in the sec-ond paragraph of the Discussion found on page 557. The sentence should read:

These genes encode the α3, β3, and γ2 polypeptide chains of laminin-5, respectively.14

A table is missing from the editorial, “Preventing Burkholderia cepacia complex infection in cystic fibrosis: Is there a middleground?” by LiPuma, which appeared in the October 2002 issue of The Journal (volume 141, pages 467-9). The Table follows:
