Education and Training Required • You would have to be a U.S. citizen• 18 years old or older• You can’t have a felony record• You can’t have a problematic job

Schedule/ Hours of Work• Prisons are separated into shifts• time of work may vary• Correctional officers work 40 hours a
week • May work nights or weekends
Salary• salary ranges from $23,320 to
$46,500 a year• Correctional officers get paid
differently throughout the states• There is many different jobs that get
