LITURGY OF THE WORd
THIS WEEK
B i e n v e n i d o s !
Saludaban a Jesús

MONASTERY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Divine Mercy Retreat (Fr. Gerard and Br. Mark)
April 6-8 (Weekend)
God has revealed to us His boundless, merciful love in His
Son, Jesus. His heart was broken with love as He wept over
a Jerusalem that would later refuse His love, nailing Him to
a cross. That cross brings us hope today. The message has
rung out through the centuries, yet we have often become
deaf to His merciful love. This retreat will focus on how we
can receive the healing love, poured out from the radiant
heart of our Lord, once we learn to put our trust in Him.
Retreat. Rest. Reflect. Renew. The Monastery of the Holy
Spirit is a place where you can “get away from it all” to
revitalize your spirit and rejuvenate your soul. Feel free to
put the world behind you and immerse yourself in the
monastic lifestyle. We offer a sacred space where people
can seek God in solitude, stillness and the beauty of nature.

Veneration After Each Mass All Afternoon between
the11:00 AM-5:00 PM Masses
The Franciscan Friars invite you to join them
in welcoming Saint Anthony of Padua to
Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
St. Anthony will be visiting us in the form of “two precious relics”
from his Basilica in Padua, Italy. The relics will be accompanied by
Friar Bortolino Maistrello from the Messenger of St. Anthony in
Padua.
Prayer petitions with holy cards will be distributed by Friar Bortolino
and volunteers to allow parishioners to write their prayer petition to
Saint Anthony. The writing of a prayer petition is a worldwide
tradition when venerating a relic of a saint. Father Bortolino will
bring the petitions back to the Pontifical Basilica in Padua and place
them at the tomb of Saint Anthony. The tour officially ends back at
the Tomb of Saint Anthony where the Friars will gather to pray for
the Saint’s intercession upon our intentions and petitions.
