In the current scenario, CSR goes way beyond the old philanthropy of the past — donating money to good causes at the end of year. Instead, it is an all year around responsibility. Indeed, the brand names depend not only on quality, price and uniqueness but on how, cumulatively we work towards with companies’ workforce, community and environment. This is the difference we make to the world in which we live, and the contribution we make toward society.

CSR has gained unprecedented importance and we take our responsibilities seriously and are focused on setting and achieving higher sustainability standards each year as we grow and diversify our business.

It is a matter of great satisfaction that YIND’s focus on creating larger societal value has enabled its businesses to generate sustainable livelihood opportunities and investing part of our profits beyond business, for the larger good of society we live.

Monitoring, Review and EvaluationThere are three levels of monitoring and review undertaking for CSR initiative

We believe that “Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to contribute on improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large”.

We actively work with organizations that share our commitment to local, national and global corporate citizenship and sustainability. Our leadership roles in the organizations influence our approach to corporate responsibility.

We pursue the highest standards of social responsibility – how we address pressing societal concerns, to support and empower our employees, to how we work with our clients, to how we govern the corporation. We aim to regularly exceed those standards.

Throughout the history, we have taken a thoughtful, comprehensive approach to corporate responsibility that we believe aligns with YASKAWA’s values and maximizes the impact we make as a global entity. These efforts are propelled by the principles laid 100 years back with a commitment to serve the society.

Since the inception, we are defined by the values and practices we follow and not by the products, technologies or leaders.

Education – Key to progress of any country

Education as we know plays a very vital role in a persons life.

Education however does not mean just curriculum as specified in school text books, but is also comprised of extra curricular and outdoor activities, which shape the overall personality and intellect of a child.

Keeping this in mind, YIND joined hands with a centre where these kids get education for free and are prepared for their future enrolments in proper educational institutions as per their interest.

So, in order to hone some of these skills and interests, we visited Sanskriti Kendra, New Delhi along with 90 such kids.
