Bedrooms

Chicheley Hall has a total of 48 bedrooms that consist of a mixture of double, twin and single bedrooms. We also have two different types of bedrooms, some example are shown below:

Manor House Bedrooms

The Manor House bedrooms are a great option for upgrading important guests attending your event, the style of the room is traditional which suits the style of the property.

We have a total of 14 of these house bedrooms and the upgrade supplement is priced at £25 per room.

Garden Wing Bedrooms - The remaining 34 bedrooms are located in our Garden Wings and below are some images of these

rooms.

Its secluded location offers a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while its proximity to the M1 and fast-rail links to London Euston from nearby Milton Keynes provide the convenience you require.

A stunning Grade I listed mansion, Chicheley Hall is regarded as one of the finest examples of early 18th Century architecture. Its current hall dates back to the 1700’s and is truly impressive for any event. (No wonder that Chicheley Hall has been used as a location for such film and television projects as Pride and Prejudice, The Meaning of Life, and Black Beauty.)

Coupled with 48 individually furnished bedrooms overlooking our lovely gardens, modern amenities, and the latest business facilities—including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel—you are guaranteed an unforgettable experience at Chicheley Hall, Chicheley.

In addition to being renowned for weddings, meeting, and conferences, Chicheley Hall is proud to be home of the Kavli Royal Society International Centre, a venue for residential events.

In 2010 the Royal Society acquired Chicheley Hall in Buckinghamshire with support from The Kavli Foundation. The building is named The Kavli Royal Society International Centre in recognition of the Royal Society’s gratitude to the Kavli Foundation. As the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence, The Royal Society is dedicated to promoting excellence in science and is a fellowship of many of the world’s most eminent scientists.

Walking around the venue you can’t help but notice our scientific background, all 48 of our bedrooms are personally named after past noble prize winners and the walls around the venue are filled with history and photos. Even the dining rooms have bespoke curtains and wallpaper containing Hooke’s micrographia flea image.

About Chicheley

Directions

Road

From London and the M25, proceed north along the M1 until Junction 14. Exit onto the

slip road (M1 J14). At the roundabout, take the third exit onto London Road A509 towards

Wellingborough and Kettering. Stay on this road, passing over two

roundabouts. After a long straight mile of dual carriageway, take the third exit on the

roundabout onto the A422 towards Bedford. After leaving the roundabout, turn right down Chicheley Road (before the pub on the left), then turn left through the gates to Chicheley

Hall. If using a satellite navigation system, please

note that you will be advised to use Hall Lane, the former access to Chicheley Hall. The

correct access is via the main entrance on Chicheley Road, the next road along from Hall

Lane.

Rail

Chicheley Hall is located just 15 minutes by car from Milton Keynes Central Station. Trains

run frequently from London Euston Station, with a 30-minute journey time on the fastest train. The station also has rail links to other major cities including Manchester, Liverpool,

Birmingham, and Glasgow.
