Reminders• Don’t forget to check your time on the LCD screen at the finish. If you name does

not appear - quickly go back to the finish line and swipe your card again. If it still does not appear go to the admin tent and report a finish time. Keep an eye on the clock so that if you time did not record you have a finish time in mind.

• If you wish to change your distance from the original entry, it must be done by run 3.

• Tags – If you have misplaced or forgotten your tag you will be issued with a ‘temporary tag’. Please do not run and bring a manual time to the tent unless you are told to do so. You can replace your lost card for $5.

• You can’t ‘phone in your time’ or email your times.

• Quoting your team number and runner number is imperative every time you communicate with us. You will find you team & runner number on your tag just under ‘2014’.

Track EtiquettePlease remember that the tracks remain open to the public and you will have other casual walkers, runners and cyclists on the track from both directions. Please keep to the left at all times, do not walk more than two abreast, and be alert at all times. Please consider your safety and that of others.

be active Corporate Cup Fair Play Rules This event is designed as a fun and exciting event for workplaces to enjoy a challenge and promote a little friendly rivalry! To ensure it is run in a safe, fair and sportsmanlike environment we have a few rules that all participants are to abide by.

No Bandit Runners / Walkers – all runners and walkers must be registered to take part. Permanent substitution only is allowed and can be made up to and including Week 3. You may only run during the official times – and no phone in, or emailed times or adjustments will be accepted under any circumstances. The ability to check that your time is recorded and correct is available onsite through the finish screen display and also via the barcode scanner at the admin tent. The onus is upon you to ensure you are recorded. If you have any doubt please speak to the staff onsite. Do not run for someone else – or run with more than one timing tag or try to claim a manual time whilst carrying another tag – we will pick this up and you and your team will be disqualified. We take a zero tolerance approach to any form of cheating. First time Corporate Cup participants For those of you entering the event for the first time, you’ll soon find out it’s about far more than just going for a run or walk every fortnight. Seven of the eight run days are actually “tests”, which measure your improvement during your fortnightly training over 16 weeks.

With your work mates encouraging you, your times should improve as the event goes on. People who complete the whole program often comment that, not only have they achieved personal fitness, but they’ve also established a running/walking fitness pattern that they plan to continue throughout the summer months. Now there’s something to aim for!
