At CME Group, we are committed to delivering value to our customers, shareholders and employees. This focus extends to taking an active role in social responsibility across the communities where we live and work. We are pleased to share our 2015 Corporate Citizenship Report, which highlights the range of investments we are making through our corporate philanthropy, community outreach and sustainability efforts.

CME Group contributed more than $6 million in 2015 via our charitable programs and foundations. Additionally, our Amicus community outreach program enabled our employees and exchange community to volunteer more than 2,700 hours of service in Chicago, New York, London, Belfast and Singapore.

It is not only our responsibility, but also our privilege, to give back to our local communities. We are proud to be an organization dedicating its time and resources to making a positive and lasting difference.

CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY

Through charitable grants from our corporate foundation and in collaboration with an independent foundation, we are able to support important philanthropic causes. We assist regional non-profi t partners with running effective programs that improve local communities.

$250,000 to fi ght cancer via our inaugural Pink for a Purpose and Movember campaigns

We create avenues for those in our exchange community to make a positive difference by helping others. Our employees and members value active involvement in their communities and spend thousands of hours volunteering at local schools and non-profi ts.

Four adopted schools in Chicago, London and New York

$25,000 from annual school supplies and holiday toy drives

200 children and 40 families adopted during our annual adopt-a-family / adopt-a-child holiday drives

160% increase in usage of the Shred & Recycle program, resulting in nearly 300,000 pounds of paper recycled and saving more than 2,500 trees
