Who would have guessed a week ago that we would be dealing with Coronavirus - or COVID 19? A term that was proba-bly unknown a few weeks ago among most of us – has become an international term with significant lifestyle implica-tions. Imagine the impact that the reality of this virus has had on each one of us. It has our attention - and we have been forced into a lifestyle designed to protect ourselves and protect others from us. All I can say is, “Wow!” What we are experiencing as a worldwide society, however, has been experienced on an individual level every day. An economic reversal, a negative diagnosis, a job loss, a relationship break-up, a divorce, a birth, or a physical move impact many people each day. The big difference is that when we face these difficulties individually, we think no one knows or even cares. As we go through these issues together - perhaps it would be good to remind ourselves - and each other - that this is life. Change is a part of life. People are in need and we have, as God’s people, the responsibility to reach out to others -in prayer for them and service to them. God cares! Keep connected with our website - www.gtcoc.org - for the latest developments and newsworthy updates regarding our family of God’s people at Germantown. These announcements may include updates on services, activities, or means of encouragement. If you are not able to regularly go to the website, call me or the church office and we can ‘connect’ you with someone who can make sure you know the very latest regarding the work of the church. Pray for and serve people everywhere. Let’s each pray for our leaders and for one another. I’m grateful for our elders and the decisions they are making regarding the work and worship of this church - particularly at this critical time. Let’s keep constant in prayer and close in contact.
WELCOME GUESTS
If you are visiting with us, we consider you an
honored guest. We encourage you to fill out the
red guest card located behind the pew in front of
you. We wish to meet and greet you after service.
Thank you for worshipping with us and please
