Congratulations and applause for 25 great years! Bill, thank you for help-ing all of us think better, dream better and live better. May God continue

to do through you what is beyond you. Bill and Pam Farrel, authors of the best-selling Men are like Waffles and

Women are like Spaghetti.

I am honored to have been asked to be a small part of the 25th anni-versary of Cornerstone Church, and the ministry of Pastors Bill & Tina

Godair, through this brief message of congratulations.

I was delighted to have been able to minister in their great church just a few short weeks ago and in so doing, gained the utmost respect and ad-miration for these two incredible ministers. Building a ministry with the strength and legacy of Cornerstone Church is not an easy undertaking. It takes an unwavering sense of calling – a down-to-the-core knowledge that what you are doing is of God and not of man. As Gamaliel counseled his fellow Pharisees about the early church, an endeavor that is of man will be overthrown, but if it is of God it cannot be overthrown! Truly,

Pastor Bill & Tina are called by Almighty God!

What the Godairs have built in Salisbury is to be admired and held up as a role model for the next generation of Christian leaders. Cornerstone Church is privileged to have such excellent, selfless servants of God in

their midst. Here’s to the next 25!

Rod Parsley, Pastor, World Harvest Church, Columbus, Ohio & Host of Breakthrough

From humble beginnings in downtown Salisbury to the wonderful Cor-nerstone Campus, the core things that make me respect Bill Godair, his family, and the Cornerstone family do not change. You have the habit of giving God the glory, keeping your word, hard work, business mindedness, generosity, true friendship and steadiness. What results after 25 years of

labor is the natural fruit of your character. I stay impressed!Paul & Julie Cook, Lead Pastors

of Abundant Life Church - Plano, TX

Happy 25th Anniversary!!! You have transformed Rowan County by your relentless spirit, your compassion for the lost and your vision to see people live a better life than what they live now. Thank you for giving yourself, your family, your vision to Cornerstone Church!! You are now and will always be who I refer to as the “Shepherd of the Shattered.” I

love you, Pastor!! Pastor Daniel Cook, Lead Pastor of The Sanctuary - Wilmington, N.C.

Congratulations to Pastors Bill and Tina Godair. This is a celebration hon-oring you for your spiritual leadership in Salisbury and beyond. Sharon and I are thrilled to know people like you who continually look higher, reach farther and push against the current of impossibility. May you con-

tinue to enjoy the blessings of God upon your life and ministry. Jonathan R Perry, Lead Pastor of Life Chapel - Toledo, OH

Congratulations!

Back in 1986, little did Salisbury realize just who drove into town. Little did anyone, especially Pastor Bill Godair realize just what God had in store for Rowan County. One thing can be certain, the firey and pas-sionate young man had a vision deep in his soul for what God could do through a man of God and a group of people who would dare believe God.

My wife Jenny and I have known and have enjoyed being called a friend of Bill Godair these past twenty five years. I know of no one with greater passion, focused energy and loyal commitment to his purpose and his friends like Bill Godair. We have enjoyed vacations, conferences, and a thousand hours of phone conversations. Bill Godair is one of the most dynamic men in my life that has inspired, motivated, and challenged me to be bigger and better in God, life and business. Without Bill Godair in my life, I would be less of a man and far weaker than I wish to imagine.

Jenny and I take this moment to celebrate and congratulate Pastor Bill Godair and his fantastic wife Tina for twenty five years of service, sacri-fice and soul into the spiritual and entrepreneurial work in Cornerstone

Church, Salisbury, North Carolina.

My deepest love and admiration,Dr. Tim McClure, Lead Pastor of Promiseland Church - Melbourne, FL

Happy 25th Anniversary! Thank you for the times that you have spoken into my life, my ministry and my family. We are just so grateful for all the things that you have done. You have made a huge impact in our lives and your ministry will last for generations and generations. I love you so much

and the whole Cornerstone family. LaRue Howard, Recording Artist

The best way for me to describe how I feel on this 25th Anniversary of Cornerstone Church is to use the words of the baseball great, Lou Gehrig, “Today, I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth!”

To my wife, Tina: I’m married to one of the sweetest, most intelligent, hard-working ladies on planet Earth. You are so beautiful and the way you care for me is amazing. I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with you!

To my 4 children and their families: It’s hard to imagine that you’re all grown and have families of your own. I’m proud of each of you and the spouses you have chosen. One of my greatest desires is to always portray to you what “family” is all about. Love ya!

To my grandchildren, Kassey and “C”: Pawpaw loves you both. You have made me so happy. Love you!

To Calvin, Jennifer & Shaun (my adopted family): Tina and I love you and are always thankful for you.

To Mom and Walt: I’m so thankful that you live in Rowan County; I love you both.

To my Pastors, Tom & Betty Whidden: I’ve been around preachers all my life but I’ve never been around a couple that shows forth the Fruits of the Spirit (love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control) the way you do. I love you and thank you for allowing me to call you Pastor.

To Cornerstone Church Family: I know it’s crazy to think that we have been together for 25 years. The average length of a Pastor today is 18 months. I am honored to pastor the greatest folks this side of Heaven. For 25 years, you have stood with me; through the good times and bad times. Cornerstone is not what it is because of Bill & Tina Godair or the Pastoral Team…it’s because of you, the covenant members and friends that serve and support the vision of the house with your time and finances. You are the real heroes.

God is searching the earth for those who will believe in His cause and be the spark that changes the

culture around them. He’s looking for a generation that

will not be satisfied as spectators, but who will wholeheartedly explore and live out their full, God-given poten-tial. Now is the time. We are those people. This is the Movement.

The Living Room (Singles) is a unique blend of teaching and discussion in a non-threatening environment of ac-ceptance and authenticity. It is a place where you can come as you are to lis-ten, ask questions, and dialogue with what’s on your heart and mind. The Living Room is designed to connect and build lasting and meaningful re-lationships while exploring God and ourselves.

The Union (Married Couples) was formed - to create environments that foster deep connections with other young couples, each other, and with God as we move from just doing church to actively being the church. It’s so easy to just attend church and not ever become a part of it, but it is for our benefit and the benefit of oth-ers that we become living and active participants.

No matter what your family looks like—whether you’re a single parent, an empty nester, a couple with no kids, a single adult, or a traditional family with a mom, dad, and children at home—you matter at Cornerstone!

Perhaps you’re looking for support in spiritually forming your kids. Or you’re thinking about getting into a serious re-lationship—or praying for one. There are individuals who are trying to take care of aging parents and grandparents, aware of the spiritual influence they can pass onto future generations. Some have been wrecked by the loss of a loved one or the failure of a mar-riage. At Cornerstone, we are here to walk alongside you regardless of what your family looks like. We want to help you develop stronger, healthier relation-ships as you grow spiritually and embrace God’s design for your relationship.

At Planet Kidz, we offer an atmosphere of action - con-stantly moving forward & serving children as they learn

and grow in a deeper relation-ship with Jesus Christ. Just as they talked about the New Jerusalem in Zechariah 8:4-5, kids of every nationality & background will play together, pray together & live for God together! We cannot stay still - this is a World of Action and at Planet Kidz, we choose to BE ACTIVE IN GOD!

Planet Kidz meets every Wednesday at 7p.m. & Sundays at 9 & 11a.m. in vari-ous classrooms throughout the Education Center. The Infant Nursery is located in The Event Center for infants - 6 weeks to walkers. The Pre-Tot Nursery is located in the Education Center for toddlers who are walking through 23 months.

The Senior Adult Min-istry is comprised of two groups, JOY (Just Older Youth) and SALT

(Seasoned Adults Living Triumphantly). JOY includes adults ages 51-65 while SALT includes adults 66 yrs & up. While there will be shared events and/or activities, a distinction is made due to clearly different needs and activities of each group. Both groups are dedicated to living out purpose and exploring lifelong passions that lead to legacies of hope and faith. We thrive on fel-lowship, encouragement and victo-rious living by serving as a platform for seniors to pay forward in our homes, church and community.

Ages 51 & up * Single & Married

Because we care for you and your family, we want to make certain that every mem-

ber and family of our church experience the love and support of the whole congregation. We want to be known throughout our community as a loving and caring church. What is the My Circle Family Plan? It is a plan through which the My Circle Leaders can join the Lead Pastors and church staff in ministering to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each church member and family. The church families are divided into groups of ten or more families. Each group of families is then assigned to a My Circle Leader who will minister to them over a period of time.
