Comments• The section of footpath in question while narrow provides an

important off street approach to and from the Wynnum Rd Bikeway;• The footpath pavement has been dug up and open for over 2 weeks

as a result of what appears to be a new water line installation into a new development;

• Work is creating unsafe riding and walking conditions as people are forced to stay on the road as they approach Wynnum Rd;

• 3 witches hats have previously been in place but are no longer there;

• Bicycle commuters travelling along this section after dark are at significant risk as visibility is poor in this area and there is no warning that the pavement has been disturbed.

• Slide 4 shows the severity of the distrubance to the footpath pavement;

• Slide #5 shows clear evidence (tyre skid marks) that cyclists are be caught unaware of the disruption to the footpath;
