Corkey is a lovely 57’ reverse layout cruiser stern narrowboat, built in 2011 by Narrowboats of Staffordshire and fitted out by Charlotte Palin. She is well equipped for life as a liveaboard and will sleep six.The stern deck is large at 7’8” long. The Isuzu 35 sits under the deckboards. There are only 572 hours on the clock.Steps lead down into the galley. There is plenty of storage in here and utilities comprise of a four burner gas hob, oven & grill, stainless steel sink, and a 12/230v fridge. A washing machine could be accomodated in one of the cupboards if required.The saloon follows. This is nearly 11’ long and houses a 3 seater sofabed (with side hatch opposite) and a 22” TV/DVD. There is storage under the sofabed, under the TV and in a freestanding chest.The spare bedroom is next. The fixed double has storage under. This room could remain as a bedroom, or the saloon could easily be extended, or it could become an office....lots of options.The bathroom is a walk-through one. The shower is a quadrant style, the loo is a Thetford cassette and the basin is ceramic. There are shelves and cupboards for storage.The main bedroom is at the front of the boat. The bed extends to 5’ wide and has storage under. There is a large wardrobe at the foot of the bed and shelves and drawers for further storage.Steps lead up to the well deck.She has both a cratch cover and a pramhood (new in 2019). She was last blacked in Dec 2020 and had 4 new anodes put on her. She is centrally heated by a Webasto diesel boiler. The water tank is stainless steel, and the water is heated by the engine, the Webasto or an immersion heater. 230v is from either the 3kw inverter or landline, and 12v is from the bank of 4 domestic batteries. These are topped up by the 495w of solar power. All the lights are LED (including under gunwale lights in the saloon). She also has a galvanic isolator fitted.She is in lovely condition both inside & out.
