APLUS+ is both a movement to advance the Personalized Learning model as an essential and more flexible learning model to address the ever-diverse needs of 21st Century K-12 students, and a membership-based association that supports schools, education resource providers, and individuals who are interested in uniting around Personalized Learning.
Two of CORE's PLT's Ms. Josifek and Mrs. Harper presented at the APlus Conference in Sacramento this week. They tackled the difficult task of Parent Training 101.

Emma, Jacob, Joelle, and Regan hang up the weekly Yearbook Surveys in the school lobby. Every week they ask students to participate in surveys that will appear in the yearbook. These surveys include questions like, What’s your favorite past time?, What’s your favorite book series?, and What’s you favorite pizza topping? Students look forward to seeing what questions will be next. Great job yearbook staff!

CORE’s Librarian, Sarah Donnelly and CORE’s Computer Software Application Technician, Tim Connaughton work hard to cut styrofoam for the Science Fusion kits.
Tim and Sarah developed this ingenious technique for cutting styrofoam using a heated wire. The wire was heated using the current from a battery.
