Corbridge is a beautiful, historic and friendly village with a real sense of community. It offers an abundance of restaurants, cafs and quality shops which will be hard to replace and will be a huge miss.

  • Towers

  • A stunning top floor luxury conversion apartment set within the magnificent

Corchester Towers, beautifully positioned on the north western outskirts of the

    village of Corbridge.

The apartment is superbly appointed to a high specification to include quality kitchen

cabinets with striking worktops as well as an impressive contemporary style bathroom.

This deceptively spacious home must be viewed internally to be truly appreciated. The

rooms are well proportioned, with many enjoying views of the beautiful grounds and

    the delightful surrounding countryside beyond.

Corbridge is a highly regarded village boasting an array of lovely shops and tea rooms as

well as be well placed for access to road and transport links allowing for the commute

to Newcastle City centre by road and rail.overview

  • On entering the communal reception hall of Corchester

Towers you are greeted by an imposing staircase which rises

to the top floor of the building.

The communal landing provides access to the private entrance

lobby of the apartment, which in turn leads through to a

welcoming hall. The reception hall exudes character with

exposed beams and lovely views from its window.

The magnificent reception room is fabulous and affords ample

space to accommodate both living and dining areas. Enjoying

a dual aspect, the lounge/dining room takes in views of the

    grounds and countryside beyond.

    step inside

  • The accommodation continues with a superb kitchen; a stylish

room fitted with wall and base cabinets and further enhanced by

complementary worktops and up-stands. Integrated appliances

include a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, Bosch

electric oven and Bosch electric hob.

The bedrooms are both double in size, the master bedroom

an imposing room with exposed beams and stunning views.

Bedroom two is a charming room, also with countryside views.

The bathroom is most impressive and presented in a

contemporary style. Fitted with a white four piece suite

including bath and a step in shower.

  • This beautiful location allows for a peaceful lifestyle. Corchester Towers is set within charming gardens and enjoys a quiet open

aspect taking in views of the hills and countryside

to the north, south and west. I believe the

property was originally built around the 1800s

as a private dwelling before being converted to a

boys residential school. The communal entrance

bears a plaque paying tribute to those old boys

    lost during both world wars.

  • The communal maintenance aspect works extremely well, knowing that the building and gardens are maintained is very reassuring.

    insight

  • The spacious dimensions of the apartment are very appealing. The lounge has such a light and airy feel with its large windows offering the most stunning outlook over the gardens

and hills in the distance which afford spectacular sunset views.

  • When away from home I have great peace of mind due to the secure nature of the apartment, there is always someone about at Corchester Towers so I have no concerns over safety.
