Day 1: Australia - - Delhi

Depart Australia today on your flight to Delhi (please note, some flight may depart 1

day before). You will arrive at New Delhi International Airport. Following customs,

immigration formalities and baggage collection, a Webjet representative will meet you

as you exit the arrivals hall.

India’s capital and a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling

metropolis, which successfully combines in its folds – the ancient with the modern.

Amidst the fast spiraling skyscrapers, the remnants of a bygone time, in the form of its

many monuments, stand as silent reminders to the region’s ancient legacy. Delhi is a

food-lovers haven and has something to please every palate. There is an unlimited

street food of North India to International cuisine and from road-side dhabas to fine

dining – Delhi has it all.

Day 2: Delhi - Corbett National Park (B,D)

After breakfast, proceed for a drive to Corbett National Park (260 km / 7 hrs approx.).

Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You

may go on a leisurely nature walk or a bird watching trip in the lush terrains.

Corbett is one of the finest habitats of the tiger in India, the majestic Corbett National

Park nestles in the foothills of the Himalayas. Corbett not only has the glory of being

India’s oldest and most reputed national park, it is also the place Project Tiger was

first launched. This reserve was known as the Hailey National Park and was later

renamed after Jim Corbett, the legendary hunter-naturalist, author and pioneer

conservationist who helped set up this wildlife sanctuary. It is famous the world over

as the ‘Land of the trumpet, roar and song’

Day 3: Corbett National Park (B,L,D) Today, enjoy the wildlife spectacle that is Corbett National Park. Explore the lush jungles of Corbett National Park as you join an exciting look out for the residents of the National Park. Start early in the morning for an open top game drive deep in the untamed forest. The jeep will take you to the places frequented by the tigers. If you are lucky, you might catch a sight of a tiger resting in shade or cubs playing around while their mother keeps an eye on them. The forest is full of residents like wild elephants, Chital, Langur, Sloth Bear, Leopard, Python, Cobra, Barking Deer, Peacock and variety of birds. You may search the boulder-strewn river for the rare and elusive Ibis bill as well as Wall creeper. Return to your hotel for breakfast and enjoy time some time at leisure. This afternoon, proceed on another game drive to the National Park. To hopefully spot the animals you missed earlier today. Day 4: Corbett National Park – Delhi (B) After breakfast, we leave Corbett and make our way back to Delhi. On arrival, the rest of the evening is free to relax after your drive. Tomorrow, we journey out to explore Delhi!
