1. QosmioPlayer TV functionality:This intuitive graphical interface bypasses the Windows® operating system when booting to offer quick and easy TV and digital entertainment at the touch of a button.

Even when the Qosmio unit is off, TV can be quickly accessed via the AV Control Buttons on the system or the Remote Control.

2. QosmioPlayer TV recording:You can record TV programs via the QosmioPlayer and save up to maximum 50 files (maximum recording capacity: 5 GB)*.

3. QosmioPlayer Time-shifting:Pausing a TV broadcast to resume later (Pause TV)

This function enables you to pause a TV broadcast (Pause TV) and resume viewing at a later, more convenient time, by storing the TV broadcast temporarily on the HDD.

Playing a TV program currently being recorded (Chase Play)

You can begin playback from the beginning of a program currently being recorded (no need to wait for the end of recording to begin playback).

Toshiba RAID support

Summary of features and benefits• RAID-1 supported

– Customer can continue computing with zero downtime even when one of the hard drives is crushed (reliable computing by RAID-1 technology).

• Hard drive hot plug is supported– Hot insertion/extraction of the select bay hard drive is still supported on the RAID-1

system as same as stand alone configuration.• Hard drive password is supported

– Hard drive password is still supported on the RAID system when inserting the select bay hard drive on Windows running state as same as stand alone configuration.

• Hot reconfiguration is supported– Customer can change the configuration status from/to stand alone to/from RAID-1

mutually by using RAID utility on Windows.

• Easy access to RAID status icon on task tray– Easy to open the RAID utility and to check/change the status of RAID configuration.
