Create and manage accounts from within Infinite Campus

Use Add Account to create individual accounts

Use Mass Account Creation Wizard to create accounts and PINS for schools, grade levels, staff, without duplicating accounts

Employees can have multiple PIN numbers on one account – eg. one to cashier with, one to eat with


Account Creation

POS Preferences Show Eligibility in

Deposit – if checked, will show F/R on POS Deposit Tab

Auto Creation of Account/PIN Options will create new STUDENT accounts for new enrollments


Add Account Wizard Used to add accounts for

people who do not already have them (change from 6.3 – patrons do not NEED to be part of a household to have an account)

For single accounts only; if you want to do this for many students or staff at once use the Mass Account Creation wizard.

Will require you to SEARCH to verify an account does not already exist.


Mass Account Creation Wizard

Creates accounts for staff/students who do not already have one

Does not duplicate accounts.


Deposit Management – Household POS Deposit Tab Use Setup Deposit option

to allocate a portion of each deposit to a family member with an account

Deposits can be allocated as requested regardless of whether Setup Deposit has been done – this gives parents flexibility in the management of funds allocation.


Parental Control Parents can request restrictions on their students’

accounts. Parents can request reminder levels (POS reminder

when balance reaches $ amount) or they can be set via Wizard for all patrons at any eligibility level.


General Account Information

Account Info tab: Allows eligibility to be

manually input or displays IC FRAM processed eligibilities

Can auto-generate new PINS

Account level allows restrictions (ala carte, reminder level) to be added

Journal tab allows corrections to be made


Parent Portal Information Parents will be able to see and print a report, by month, of what each

student has been eating. This is the same information that displays on the Point Of Sale>Account>Journal Tab for each patron. They’ll also be able to see deposits, transfers, reversals and balances.


Service Organizational Tools

Set up different menu (service) for breakfast, lunch, etc.

Set up purchasables with price points for each eligibility (adult, student, reduced, free); application will charge patrons appropriately based on their eligibility

Utilize categories and naming conventions to assist in reporting

POS Menu Planning

“Hot Spare” option – if one terminal goes down, run install script to configure a spare terminal to replace it

Reports can be run by terminal – what items are being sold at each


Balance Letter Wizard

An alternative to the default Low Balance Letter (Point of Sale>Reports>Patron Balance

Utilizes new enhanced Letter Wizard features Allows you to sort by name, grade, balance or

homeroom Allows you to create different letters for different

eligibility levels (adult, free, reduced, student) and to use a Blank Header to accommodate letterhead.


Eligibility Import Wizard

For importing Direct Certification eligibilities electronically

Functions like Score Import Wizard for Assessments

Direct Certs can be entered manually if there is no electronic file to import.


Eligibility Update Wizard

Used to update student Enrollment>State Reporting>Econ Indicator eligibilities

Set criteria – if you do not want eligibilities to drop, etc.

Does not do DATE RANGE; keys on Eligibility Date


Reminder/Restriction Wizard

Will OVERWRITE anything already entered

Useful for beginning-of-year mass setting of reminder levels, esp. if you want different settings for different eligibility levels


Class Serve

ONLY for schools who have meals delivered to and eaten in the classroom.

NOT for placing cafeteria orders

Set up in Point of Sale>Class Serve; displays in Instruction Module.


Class Serve (cont.)

Attendance should be taken first. Any absent students will be grayed out to block sales to absent students.

Will charge students’ accounts for whatever items are selected. Meal is default, can choose Add to select from Ala Carte menu.
