Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight 2018 takes place between 1-16 September and provides the perfect
opportunity for everyone to get involved in celebrating and enjoying fantastic Scottish produce, whether
they’re a chef, producer, retailer, caterer, hotelier, school, organisation or food enthusiast.
The campaign for this year is themed around the future of Scotland’s food and drink industry, aligning with Scotland's
Year of Young People 2018. We want to stimulate discussion and debate and create excitement about the industry
to help spread the message that Scotland’s food and drink sector really is the place to be.
#scotfoodgoals is our official campaign hashtag for Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight 2018.
Scotland Food & Drink have set their #scotfoodgoals to become a £30bn industry by 2030, but what’s yours? Whether
you’re old or young, work in the food and drink industry or not, we want to know about your ideas or ambitions, big or
small, that will help keep the industry thriving.
Everybody can! Previous Fortnight participants include retailers from the multiples, convenience stores and small independent
farm shops to restaurants, cafés, bars, festivals, farmers’ markets, food groups, foodservice operators, visitor attractions and
just those that love Scottish food and drink!
There are many things you can do to help Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight come to life with ideas and downloadable toolkits
specific to foodservice operators, retailers, producers and consumers available on the website.
