“Principles in Presenting the Gospel” Acts 2:14-38

Summary: Principle of sharing Jesus.

1. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THOSE WHO RIDICULE WHAT THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND!

2. QUESTIONS CAN BE ONE OF OUR GREATEST SOURCES OF OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT THE GOSPEL. - verses 17-18,

3. WE MUST BEGIN WITH OUR LISTENERS WHERE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY.

4. THE WORD OF GOD IS OUR ONLY AUTHORITY. - Psalm 16

5. GOD’S WAY IS NOT JUST ONE OF MANY OPTIONS AVAILABLE. - Verse 14,

6. WE MUST BE WILLING TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT GOD SAYS ON THE HARD SUBJECTS. v. 23

7. WE MUST LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO POINT OUT TO OTHERS THAT GOD AT WORK IN THE WORLD -Verse 22, 23, 24 and 32,

8. OUR PERSONAL TESTIMONY IS OUR STRONGEST WITNESSING TOOL.

9. THE LISTENER MUST UNDERSTAND THE PERSONAL APPLICATION. -Verse 22, 23, 33, 36.

10. A CLEAR WITNESS ALWAYS TELLS THE INDIVIDUAL WHAT GOD REQUIRES OF THEM.
