Today LNT Software are the market leaders in the development of bespoke software for the care industry.
Our Care Home Management Software Coolcare2 is an easy to use, quality product chosen by many high quality care providers who appreciate not only the many advantages of the product but also our high levels of customer support.
Coming from an IT and Telecoms background within the UK Armed Forces, and having worked for some of the most respected companies in the UK, it is my privilege to be the Managing Director of a software company that can make a difference to the quality of care able to be provided by care homes across the country.
Founded in 1998 by Yorkshire born entrepreneur Lawrence Tomlinson, the business went by the name of Coolblue. In January 2011 we formalised our membership within the LNT Group of companies by rebranding to LNT Software.
It all began when as a young man in his early 20’s Lawrence recognised the need for improving efficiency within his own care homes and to fully achieve this required a highly functional and flexible software platform. Now some 20 years on since that first vision, we have launched Coolcare2 our most advanced Care Home Management software yet. As for Lawrence, he still has a massive influence in the direction of the software and it’s ever growing functionality.
The huge success of Coolcare2 has largely been achieved by the great feedback and direction we get from our existing client base across the UK, so to all our Coolcare2 users a big thank-you from Lawrence, myself and the team here at LNT Software.

About Coolcare2
FunctionalityCoolcare2 is loaded with tools to improve the quality of care offered within a single or group of care homes.Coolcare2 is split into two sections and comes with the following as standard:
Coolcare2 is a complex care management system that is delivered directly to our clients using the same security as the banking industry. This means you do not have to invest heavily in infrastructure or high end PC systems.
We offer the software as a simple monthly subscription with no tie-in or heavy contracts.
Coolare2 is a COMPLETE system inclusive of Rota, Accounting, Care Planning and Business Analysis tools.

All this functionality comes with a full offsite backup, all upgrades, training and support are included and with full access to our Remote Learning Curriculum. Here you can learn how to use all aspects of the software and follow a training course to achieve Coolcare2 certification.

So how scalable is Coolcare2?
When planning the rebuild of Coolcare2 we did so with a view to its future growth. We needed to offer a solution that was efficient and affordable to a single operator with one care home but also offer the same flexibility to a group operator with over 100 facilities.
In a nutshell, Coolcare2 has been rebuilt to make the most of the latest Microsoft database server technologies and is designed to grow as you do.
How flexible is Coolcare2?
Coolcare2 is a complete solution; if you do not want members of your team to access a particular area of the software then you have the power to restrict their access. As for the modules, everything is included – so if you buy a new facility adding it to the platform is as simple as picking up the phone or sending the team an email.

We have dramatically lowered the price point of Coolcare2. With the lower price point and moving to a monthly subscription we have opened up Coolcare2 to many more care providers that want to improve the quality of care whilst at the same time improving the efficiency of their facilities.
Our investment in technology and the redesign of the systems architecture allows us to pass those cost savings on to you.

Coolcare2 is extremely intuitive to use. We do not make a big fuss of things with long and complicated wizards but rather keep the interface clean and clear. Designed from the ground up to be as user friendly and as simple to use as possible whilst remaining extremely powerful. Of particular benefit to companies moving away from paper based systems to a computerised platform, or even business owners who want to look at the bigger picture of their operation and quickly analyse the business costs or trends. Having the finger on the pulse of your company is vital – being able to quickly analyse the company at the touch of a button.

With direct links into Sage, Pegasus and Access Accounts and with file imports for many other accounting packages, Coolcare2 really is designed to work alongside your current systems.

Always availableIf you have any Windows or Android smartphone, PC or touch screen tablet and then you have all the tools you need to make the most of CoolCare2 software.Coolcare2 can be accessed anywhere at any time, much like an online banking system the data is accessed over the internet using high grade encryption. Just enter your login details and you are able to access any part of the system.
Coolcare2 has the ability to integrate with your companies website and display many of the personal aspects a resident or a residents family may find of interest when putting the care of their loved one in your hands.
