Often tends to be based upone person and their feelings.For example a boy singing abouta girl.

The locations tend to beisolated places such asrun down areas. Or a locationthat reminds them of the personwho they are singing about.

His theory of genre suggests that throughout one genre there are many codes and conventions that link it to its particular genre. This is done by repeating techniques in which its conventions become recognisable to the audience
