Conventions of a band website

Front page• Most bands in our genre have the band name at the top of the page.

Below this is either a video of the band or band merch that you can by at their store.

• Some bands have there upcoming tour dates underneath were their latest video is.

• Other bands simple have pictures of there merchandise.

• Bands such as Enter Shikari have minimalistic front page but have a banner across the top with links to various areas of there website.

Bands such as adtr and asking Alexandria have this as well but use these to show were you can buy there merchandise

• Some bands in our genre also include a bio on their website to tell their fans more about them.

• All bands in our genre include a page were their fans can buy merchandise directly from them.

• Some bands include a page filled with links to the member’s social media pages and to other people, companies and websites associated with the band.

Social media• Some bands include a social media feed on there website so their fans can keep up

to date with them.
