with an automatic valve allows the intro-

duction of rigid lithotripsy probes and for-

ceps without loss of fluid from the channel.

outlet. As a result, no overpressure can

occur in the urinary tract and absorption of

fluid is avoided. A straight working channel

Large irrigation and instrument channels

Straight 4 Fr. channel for introduction of

rigid lithotripsy probes and auxiliary instru-

ments, slightly oblique 2.4 Fr. channel for

introduction of thinner auxiliary instruments.

The smaller channel is used as the irrigation

inlet and the larger channel as the suction

Simplest possible introduction due to the

small outer dimensions of the instrument tip

(6.5 Fr.) allowing the instruments to be

advanced gently without dilatation.

The great success of transurethral uretero-

renoscopy was made possible in the main

by the miniaturization and improvement of

the optical systems. The integration of two

working channels makes not only diagno-

stic but also therapeutic interventions pos-

sible today. With the option of continuous

irrigation, stone extraction, lithotripsy and

coagulation are possible without the dan-

ger of TUR syndrome or flushing the stone

up into the kidney.

The latest fibre image guides guarantee a

full and round image without any half-

moon effect even when the semiflexible

instrument is bent.

Our instruments starting with a distal tip of

6.5 Fr. can be introduced into any ureter. A

typical feature of Richard Wolf uretero-reno-

scopes is the absolutely atraumatic, rounded

tip. This prevents perforation of the ureter.

Continuous irrigation allows you an ideal

view even in difficult situations. At 4 Fr. and

2.4 Fr., Richard Wolf provides you with the

largest working channels available on the

market. They permit the simultaneous use

of two auxiliary instruments. Irrigation is

via an additional, lateral irrigation tap.

Urology

The reversal of the irrigation fluid within the field

of view prevents the so-called "Flush-back"

effect during stone therapy.

Brilliant picture quality

thanks to high-resolution image guides

with a fantastically clear, bright, large

image without half-moon effects.

You can order our instruments with a

straight or oblique eyepiece. The 5°

angle of view provides you with an ideal

view of your auxiliary instruments.

An adaptable, ergonomic handle

allows safe handling of the instruments

without fatigue.

To make sure you get the most out of our

instruments, we only use top-quality materials.

This increases stability and therefore also the

working life of the instruments. These instru-

ments can, of course, be autoclaved.

Faster and simpler working

Automatic valve for introducing instruments

into the instrument channel - no irritating

opening and closing of an instrument port

and no water fountains when exchanging

auxiliary instruments.
