Dear Makaf Affiliates, Non-Affiliates & Athletes, AN OFFICIAL INVITATION FOR 29TH MAKAF NATIONAL CADET, JUNIOR & U21 KARATE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2019 Please be informed that Malaysia Karate Federation (MAKAF) will Organize the 29th Makaf National Cadet, Junior & U21 Karate Open Championship 2019 and will be host by Selangor Karate Association (KARASEL) and supported by MSNS. As the host of the championship, I would like to personally invite all Makaf Affiliates/Non-Affiliates/Athletes to join and take part in this championship. Makaf & Karasel will try its level best to give you a good hospitality during the championship. Your involvement in this championship is mostly appreciated. Thank You.

KUMITE MODULES

GENERAL RULES 1. The 29th Makaf National Cadet, Junior & U21 Karate Open Championship 2019 will be conducted in accordance with the latest rules of World Karate Federation (WKF). 2. This competition is open only for Malaysian Citizen (Affiliates & Non- Affiliates) 3. Each Affiliates and Non-Affiliates can only register (1) one for Team Event

and no limitation for an individual event. 4. All registration for Non-Affiliates / Association must be pre-approved by MAKAF Secretariat and Individual Registration is Not Allowed. 5. Only Clubs / Associations registered with Malaysian Sports Commissioner allowed to participate in the championship (Non-Affiliate). 6. Competitors MUST bring their own / state provided equipment (mitts, shin guard, gloves, belt, chest protector (female), gum shield (compulsory) & body protector. (Only MAKAF/AKF/WKF approved equipment allowed)

Registration RULES 1. All competitors, coaches and officials shall register online using sports

data system. Below is the link to the registration portal in sports data online system.

2. The qualification for each of the age group is 14 years old & above for both Kata & Kumite event. 3. During registration, Coaches are advised to bring along athletes Identification Card (IC) copy for the registration, 4. The entry dateline is on 05th September 2019. Any late entries will not be entertained. 5. Any amendment after the stipulated date may occur a fee of no more than RM30.00 per amendment. 6. All coaches and officials shall register online system in term to be eligible for entrance pass (ID card). Those who failed to register in the online system after the stipulated date, are not eligible for the ID card and they will be charged RM30 per ID card.

OTHERS 1. All participants and members of delegations must arrange their own medical insurance and personal trip insurance. The organizing committee shall not be responsible for any injury / accident during championship. 2. No Shuttle service / transportation provided.

3. No Accommodation service provided. 4. Championship Souvenir Book Program * Any form of advertisement must be in softcopy with details should be e-mailed to selangorkarate@gmail.com or contact Mr. Ganesh at 017-2573858 for further clarification. * Full Page advertisement in colors are charged RM500.00 * The due date for this souvenir book program is on 30th August 2019
