Blue colour identifies Marine Division.
Green colour identifies Certification Services Division.
Orange colour identifies Industry Division.
CONTACT OFFICE: RINA Exclusive Office responsible for supervision and co-ordination of activities in specified countries.
EXCLUSIVE SURVEY STAFF: Exclusive Marine Field Surveyors, employed in RINA Exclusive Offices, Subsi- diaries or Survey Stations, entrusted with the various types of technical surveys (class and/or statutory sur-veys) of new buildings or ships in service, inspections, tests and other similar technical activities.
ASSESSMENT STAFF: Exclusive technical personnel, mainly employed in RINA Exclusive Offices, Subsidiaries or Audit Stations, entrusted with carrying out and co-ordi-nating activities for the issue, maintenance and renewal of certifications in the Certification Services and Indus-trial fields.
TECHNICAL STAFF: Exclusive Technical staff, mainly employed in the Head Office, entrusted with the appraisal of plans, specifications, calculations, manuals and other technical documents, according to applicable rules and regulations.
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF / STAFF: Administrative and Support Staff, employed both in the Head Office and in Branch Offices, normally entrusted with administrative and secretarial duties.

OPERATIONAL NETWORK: Consists of Offices/ Subsidiares, Representations, etc. located over the territory, through which RINA provides its services to Clients, in the marine and industry field.
OFFICES: Exclusive offices through which, RINA provides its services within a specific geographical area (jurisdiction) and in the context of which, also Audit/Survey Stations and other Representations can operate.
SURVEY/AUDIT STATIONS: Operational bases, where exclusive / non-exclusive staff is located and from which it operates, being coordinated and controlled by a specific RINA Office (Contact Of-fice).
JOINT EXCLUSIVE STATIONS: Joint Exclusive Survey Stations based on relevant agreements, between RINA and Germanischer Lloyd, accor- ding to which qualified GL Exclusive Surveyors are also qualified as RINA Exclusive Surveyors. These Survey Stations, to be regarded in all re-spects as Exclusive RINA Representations, are also referred to as RINA.
CLASSIFICATION SOCIETIES which are Members of IACS: Classification Societies act-ing as RINA Agents, whose qualified Exclusive Surveyors also perform activities on behalf of RI-NA, on the basis of relevant agreements. These representations are identified by the name of the Classification Society concerned.
CLASSIFICATION SOCIETIES which are not Members of IACS: Classification Societies act-ing as RINA Agents, whose Surveyors are quali-fied by RINA to perform activities on its behalf, on the basis of relevant agreements. These represen-tations are identified by the name of the Classifica-tion Society concerned.
AGENCIES: Organizations, companies or people assigned to perform specific services on behalf of

RINA, consisting of receiving requests for services from Clients, delivering documents, carrying out administrative activities, on the basis of relevant agreements.
AGENCIES with technical personnel: Organi-zations or companies, who perform the technical duties requested by Clients within the limits of au-thorization granted by RINA, and who also employ Non-Exclusive Surveyors.
NON-EXCLUSIVE SURVEYORS: People who, based on their expertise, have been qualified and authorized to perform technical activities on RI-NAs behalf, in the marine sector. They are free to work on behalf of other organizations.
