Eurocontrolli has more than 22 years history in the Italian and International markets, engineering and supplying integrated telecom, security, safety and automation solutions. The Situation
One of the Customer’s requests was the restructuring of the existing systems in order to safeguard the invest-ments made until then. The system with greater impact, given the numbers of badge readers and badge cards, was the ACS Access Control System.The main objective was to keep the badge cards, replace the control panel, keeping the badge readers where-ver possible thanks to the Mercury Standard Protocol Support.Furthermore, the Customer requested a complete Integration with third party Mercury based systems, in order to provide a cost effective transition path that would eliminate the need to remove and replace existing systems, allowing for a secure and safe final solution.

• Perimetral CCTV All sites have a perimeter security video surveillance. Fixed cameras were installed along the access gates (pedestrian and vehicle) while on the perimeter, alternating PTZ and Dome cameras were installed.
• Perimetral Intrusion Detection PIDS Taut wire systems Microwave systems
• Access Control System ACS Replaced the badge readers where necessary. Mifare Badge readers were installed with the possibility of reading other technologies (125Khz).
