Bulk Container Storage SystemAll bulk containers (1000L containers) must be bunded to comply with regulations which

means the bund must contain at least 1000 litres. These units offer a cost effective and

space saving solution, without compromising quality. Available in both single and double

units (don’t forget the spare 1000L container must be bunded) and with a couple of unique

accessories.

PVC weather covers are an option which is essential in outdoor locations to eliminate storm

water filling the bund – as this will render the bund non-compliant. PVC covers include a

galvanised frame and zipper door. Dispensing trays are available for both the single and

double version to provide spill contaminant when decanting – these units will even spill back

into the main bund should the container valve be left open.

PVC Bund CoversBacksafe Australia has now launched a solution to outdoor container

storage which the market has been searching for – a robust and

simple to assemble weather cover for drum and IBC bunds. These

units include a knock down galvanized steel frame (Stainless also

available) which supports a heavy duty PVC cover with zipper door to

the front for quick access.

No more checking bunds for accumulated stormwater, and no chance

of contaminated stormwater leaving the bund. Packs flat for transport.

Bunded Drum Storage SystemAll liquids stored on site need to be safely bunded, (as required by law) and in a unit

which will contain at least the largest stored container should it spill. This is now a simple

matter with Backsafe Australia’s poly drum bunds. Available in both 2 drum and 4 drum

sizes, featuring removable grating and provision for fork tynes, and made from heavy duty

polyethylene for durability.

EPA bund requirements are 110% of the largest drum stored or 25% of

the total volume store in drums whichever is greater.

Spill Containment CaddyNo longer are 205L drums awkward and heavy, and a recipe for spills and

injuries. With the spill containment caddy these can be moved and decanted

in safety, anywhere at anytime. This unit features a unique design which

makes use of the lever principle to rotate a standing drum to the horizontal

position, where a swivel wheel allows the whole unit to travel along the floor.

The caddy doubles as a bund, with a 230 litre capacity to contain at least one

whole container, should it spill or leak.

Drum Racking BundThere is a simpler and safer approach to storing liquids in racking –

poly racking bund. These units are designed to suit standard racking

while preserving space, and contain the legal minimum when storing

205L containers – at least one whole container. Ideal for warehousing

of containers from 5L up to 205L, such as oil, coolant, chemicals and

more.

Low Profile Bund

SystemWhen manual handling and environmental

concerns are equally important, the solution is

low profile poly bunding. Available in 2 drum

and 4 drum and 4 drum in-line versions, these

units measure only 150mm high but comply

with bunding requirements when used correctly.

These units can be connected with a simple

bund to bund connector, which will increase the

bund capacity.

Also available is an optional ramp which makes

drum loading a breeze and removable grating

means easy cleaning.

Drum VentsDrums of flammable liquids require venting to relieve pressure build-up due to heat and also

to prevent creation of a vacuum when liquid is being drained off or the drum is subjected to

sudden cooling.

Drum vents provide automatic pressure relief. Operating valve opens at 5 PSI internal

pressure in normal service. Vacuum relief is manual or automatic depending on the model

and permits 4 or more GPM flow through a standard ¾” faucet. All vents include a flame

arrestor for added safety.
