FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS JUNE 2 8:00 a.m. – Confessions 9:00 a.m. – Holy Mass 9:30 a.m. – Adoration and Holy Rosary 10:00 a.m. – Benediction

Question of the week: What can I do, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to transform my family, my community, the world?

As we celebrate the mystery of the Trinity, we also realize the mystery of how much God loves and cares for us each day. Believing in this, our lives can

overflow in thanksgiving and praise. St. Vincent wanted us to be together as having one heart and soul so that through this union of spirit we would be a true image of the unity of God. You are invited to help us bring the gifts of love and care of Jesus and be a living, vivid witness of God’s healing presence to those in need in our community. Contact the St. Vincent de Paul office at 253-0195.

MEMORIAL DAY PRAYER

Dear Lord, On this day, we remember those who have

served us by protecting our freedoms. When we celebrate our long weekend with our friends

and family, help us remember that our freedom to speak of you, and our freedom to worship you, and our freedom to do that which we ought to do, have all been brought

at the price and sacrifice of many lives. Your Son died for our eternal life in heaven.

So too, your children died protecting us here on earth. Help us be mindful this weekend and always of the sacrifices made by those in

uniform for all our freedoms. Amen.

GRADUATION PRAYER

Father, we thank you so much for our time here together. For all the friends

we have made. For all the days of laughter and fun. And for all the

times of great discovery and learning. We thank You for all who have given

of their energy and skill so that we will graduate.

Our teachers and mentors, our family and loved ones.

We thank You for them and give them all to You in prayer. As this chapter in our life closes, so a new one be-gins. We present ourselves like an open book before You. Come and scribe your words of life into our lives - Fill our minds with Your

thoughts, fill our bodies with Your strength, fill our hearts with Your

dreams that we might eternally love and serve You. We ask all this in the

glorious name of Jesus Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit

World without end. Amen.
