Amanda can answer questions regarding Youth Groups, Faith Formation for Children, RCIA,

Sacraments, Faith Formation for Adults, Young Adult Group, and Mothers Group.

ATTENTION ALL MOTHERS

Are you looking for other women of faith? Do you want your children to have friends who are

raised with good morals and values? Is it important to you that you and your children have

a support network while living the teachings of the Catholic Church?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these, please join us on Thursday, April 14th at 6:30pm at the SCM Lounge for the MUMS (Mothers Under Mary’s Supervision)

Group. Babysitting will be offered at no charge; we just ask that you provide a bag with activities for your children to play with. If you are in need of a babysitter, please

contact Amanda Montoya.

Sacrament Dates:

English First Communion: April 24

Spanish First Communion: May 1

Adult Faith Formation

Have you ever considered the differences between men and women? Have you ever wondered why women are not Priests? Have you ever questioned why Mary is so important in our faith or how we

can be more like Mary?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join us for a Three-Week Series on The Role of Women in the Church. Wednesday nights at 7:00pm and Thursday mornings at 10:00am.

April 13th - 14th: Created in Their Image and

Likeness. Explore the dignity that men and women were created with in spite of their differences.

April 20th - 21st: Men, Women, and the Church. Take a look at the relationship between men and women and the way that fits with the relationship

between Christ and the Church.

April 27th - 28th: Motherhood, Femininity, and Mary. Learn how to look to Mary as our prime example of motherhood and femininity and how this relationship is designed for men and women.

Note: Although this topic primarily focuses on the Role of Women in the Church, it is open to both men and women. Amanda will work to make this

inclusive to everyone.

RELATIVES AND THEIR FAMILIES

Worldwide Marriage Encounter

Think of how tired, discouraged and frustrated the apostles must have been in the Gospel reading today.

Then Jesus shows up and tells them to try one more time. Because they were willing and obedient, Jesus blessed them

abundantly. It works the same way in our own lives today; if we trust in Jesus and do what He tells us to do, we will receive His abundant blessings! Allow the

grace of God to strengthen, renew and rekindle your marriage relationship.

The next Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekends are April 22 - 24 in Douglas, WY, and November 4 - 6 in Clearmont WY at the Ranch at Ucross. For more information, contact Tom and Mary Frances at 307-577-7456 or [email protected]. Check out our websites at www.wwme.org

Special thanks to our parishioners who have

signed up for available hours at the Adoration

Chapel. Thank you for praying for your

families, church and country. “Where

Eucharistic Adoration flourishes, there the life

of the Church will Blossom.” John Paul 11

Congratulations to all of the RCIA neophytes who received the Sacraments

of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.

We welcome you as full members of the Universal Catholic Church and we welcome you as parishioners of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.

St. John Vianny, the patron saint of

priests once said,

“Without the Sacrament of Holy Orders,

we would not have the Lord.

Who put him there in that tabernacle?

The priest. Who welcomed your soul at

the beginning of your life? The priest.

Who feeds your soul and gives it strength

for its journey? The priest. Who will

prepare it to appear before God, bathing

it one last time in the blood of Jesus

Christ? The priest. Always the priest.

Hold your parish priest in your prayers

for his continued dedication and

commitment to the people of God.

Sometimes a good friend and a second chance is just what we need to change our lives!
