We have the pleasure to inform you that the 39th Annual General

Meeting & Scientific Conference of The Chest & Heart Association of

Bangladesh will be held on 23th-24th March, 2019 at BCPS Auditorium,

Mohakhali, Dhaka.

The Conference offers us an opportunity to share the experiences of

Pulmonologists, Cardiologists, Thoracic Surgeons, Cardiac Surgeons

and Physicians from all parts of the country. In addition, we hope to have

a fruitful exchange of views & ideas among the distinguished

personalities of our discipline.

You are cordially invited to participate in the conference. The registration

fee and deadlines are shown in the information page. There will be no

arrangement for spot registration.

Every effort is being to make the conference successful. Your active

participation will be highly appreciated. Looking forwards to your kind

attendance and active anticipation.

Dear Colleague,

We welcome you to the 39th Annual General Meeting & Scientific Conference

of The Chest & Heart Association of Bangladesh.

Expecting your active participation, we invite you to submit abstracts in the

accompanying form. The last date of submission of abstract is 28th February

2019. Registration for participation in the conference will be considered a

prerequisite for acceptance of your paper. The abstract should be computer

composed and should not exceed 250 words. The title of paper should be short

and typed in bold letter. This is to be followed by the name(s) of the author(s).

The title of the presenting author should be underlined. The text should briefly

cover the objectives, methodology, results and conclusions; avoid graphs,

tables, abbreviations or references in the abstract except those internationally

accepted. Two copies of abstract should be submitted along with CD.

The current mailing address, phone number, e-mail address (if any) of the

presenting author should be provided with abstract to the member secretary of

Scientific Sub-Committee or Office coordinator Mr. Anwar Hussain Khan

(Administrative Building, NIDCH, Mohakhali, Dhaka) by hand or by e-mail. The

Scientific Sub-Committee shall approve the abstract for presentation and the

author will be notified about acceptance with detail information, setting time of

presentation.

Multimedia will be available as audiovisual support for presentation. The author

will be responsible for preparation of slides and other presenting materials.
